Mark Rothko’s used razor
Etched a Prozac smile
On life’s concluding face
As
It
Stared
Back
At
Him.
Allan waits for his Lolita
Inside
Of the Guggenheim
Asking
Questions to
A girl about
About a painting.
When finally inquiring about
Her plans
She sighs
Despairingly,
And gives him
An
Abstract expression
As if he could
See right through her
Grin.
